Octopus 是一款為3DS Max設(shè)計(jì)的可自定義、可編程的框架插件，提供了大量的功能和特性。由Rapid Tools發(fā)布的Octopus，是一個(gè)八邊形菜單系統(tǒng)，它允許用戶創(chuàng)建完全可定制和可編程的菜單系統(tǒng)。Octopus插件能夠在單個(gè)熱鍵下使用鼠標(biāo)實(shí)現(xiàn)96個(gè)操作，包括與建模、選擇、修改器、平滑組和視圖相關(guān)的預(yù)定義八邊形菜單。

Octopu 為您提供了大量的功能，它不僅僅是一個(gè)餅圖菜單，還是一個(gè)可編寫腳本的框架，因此您有很多可能性來創(chuàng)建自己的菜單并輕松分發(fā)它們。整個(gè)Octopu系統(tǒng)可以使用maxscript進(jìn)行自定義，您可以根據(jù)需要設(shè)置行為。

Octopus offers you a vast amount of features! Since it’s not just a pie menu, but also a scriptable framework, you have a large number of possibilities to create your own menus and distribute them easily. The entire OCTOPUS system can be customized using maxscript and you can set up the behavior for your needs.

You can bind 4 different actions to each of your Octopus buttons. Each SHORT CLICK, which will trigger the Left Click / Right Click. Holding down the mouse button will turn into a Spinner. Here you can set 3 different attributes, by just moving your mouse horizontally, vertically and spinning your mouse wheel. 

Axis will be the part of Octopus, integrated into the Octopus package. The world to screen space system will extend the Octopus system, which will let you create even more user friendly tools. Octopus share also will be under development :)

Axis is a screen space direction to world space orientation modeling tool set. It let's you work with selections without having to check the orientation of your objects/sub-objects.
